The Greeley Knights of Columbus Council 2160 received its charter on July 4, 1920 by the Supreme Council. The charter was attested by James A. Falherby, Supreme Knight and William J. Ginley, Supreme Secretary. A.A. Loftus was the Colorado State Deputy.

1930s - The first few years of the 30s were relatively uneventful for the Council, on August 11, 1932, the Council received a framed picture of our founder, Father Michael McGivney... Click for MORE.
1940s - 1940 was a relatively uneventful year for the Council as they continued to pray for peace. Again the Proclamation for the observance of Good Friday was requested from the Mayor of the City of Greeley and again the Proclamation was issued... Click for MORE.
1950s - At the State Convention in May, 1950, Brother Earl Steele was elected the State Secretary. Brother Steele held this position for three years... Click for MORE.
1960s - In July of 1960, the pastor of St. Peter’s church was transferred to Colorado Springs. The Knights of Columbus presented him with a Spiritual Bouquet which consisted of 1151 Rosaries, 794 Masses, 550 Holy Communions, 795 Ejaculations, 25 prayers, 25 visits and one Novena. Msgr. 1970s - In 1970, the Council celebrated their 50th Anniversary with the help of the Fourth Degree. A Thanksgiving dance was planned and a special mass was held at the University of Northern Colorado. 1980s - In May of 1981, the Council had the honor of performing the first Admission Degree using the revised Ceremonials... Click for MORE.
1990s - The Council took on the task to assist one of our Brother Knights who was blind and in need of a speaking machine to be able to enter the work force. The efforts began in 1989 with a culmination of one of the Council’s biggest fund raisers ever... Click for MORE.
2000s - During the year 2000, the council and the Serra Club joined forces in sponsoring a Clergy Appreciation dinner. On May 11th, the event was held and the event yielded a profit of $889.65 for both organizations... Click for MORE.
